Here we go, folks. Here is the official "what we can do" for the 2021 Edmonds Arts Festival. This year they have moved the date to August.... this creates a logistical nightmare for the ESD since we are remote, and the Festival falls between school years (for transferring artwork back to the appropriate schools as students move in the fall.) So, as much as it pains me to not have a full exhibit, we are doing what we can and hoping Father's Day 2022 we will be back to our usual time and place. Please read on for all the details. Please note for K-12 - a poster will be created out of one of the calendar submissions so be sure to continue encouraging students to submit a piece.
2021 High School Entry Instructions:
Deadline for entry is April 30, 5PM.
Online registration is open to any 9-12th grade student residing or attending school within the Edmonds School District boundaries. This includes Public, Private, Homeschool and E-Learning programs. Students may enter one piece of artwork. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork in any art medium will be considered. Parental permission is required.
Artwork will be juried by individual high school art teachers and a Community Professional Artist. A total of 100 pieces will be juried into the Virtual Exhibit. Six pieces will be awarded Top Honors and be displayed on Festival grounds. Jurying will be done using a photo uploaded during the online registration process. Visit the Edmonds Arts Festival website to submit, or click on Student Art Entry form link to register. 2021 Student Art Entry Form
